'Community' Creator Dan Harmon Headed to Adult Swim

Animated comedy 'Rick and Morty' given series order

Community creator Dan Harmon is headed to Adult Swim with a new animated comedy called Rick and Morty, Deadline reports. The show, which has been given a series order, follows the unusual lives of a genius inventor and his notably less intelligent grandson.

Harmon created Rick and Morty with writer-actor Justin Roiland; the show is set for a 2014 premiere. Harmon also has two live-action comedy projects reportedly in development with CBS and FOX.
