'Red Riding Hood' is Dull in the Extreme; 'Jane Eyre' Will Surprise You

Peter Travers has no love for Red Riding Hood, a stylish update of the classic fable made by Catherine Hardwicke, the director of the first Twilight movie. Though the movie features the gorgeous Amanda Seyfried in a love triangle with two hunky guys, one of whom may be a werewolf, it's an incredibly stupid Twilight retread and dull in the extreme, so Travers is tossing it in his Scum Bucket. If you want to see a movie that is actually sexy, he recommends the umpteenth film adaptation of Charlotte Brontë's novel Jane Eyre starring Alice in Wonderland's Mia Wasikowska, which he says is surprising and full of life.
