'Cowboys & Aliens' Shoots Blanks

Peter Travers says that you're crazy if you think Cowboys & Aliens – the new movie starring Harrison "Indiana Jones" Ford and Daniel "James Bond" Craig – is any good. The film, in which aliens invade the old West, has a clever premise and most nice moments, but it's mostly just shooting blanks. He's a lot more excited about Attack the Block, a British action film by director Joe Cornish. It's also an alien invasion movie, but Cornish's plot, in which extraterrestrials face off against gang bangers in the projects of London, goes to places the wussy, overly mushy Cowboys & Aliens can't go with its PG-13 rating.
