'Cabin in the Woods' Is Genuinely Scary

Peter Travers says that The Cabin in the Woods, a new film co-written by Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator Joss Whedon, is a horror movie that is genuinely scary and funny. He can't share many details without spoiling its twists and turns, but rest assured that it's a "real barnburner of a horror movie" and "you won't know what hit you."

Travers says this is the first really scary movie to hit theaters in a while. Do you agree? If not, what scared you in the last year? Let Travers know in the comments below, on Twitter or via e-mail.
