At the Movies With Peter Travers: 'Date Night' and 'When You're Strange'

This week in At the Movies, Rolling Stone's Peter Travers takes you on a Date Night with a pair of NBC Thursday Night marquee names: The Office's Steve Carell and 30 Rock's Tina Fey. The two titans of comedy play a suburban married couple that have lost the spark in their marriage until a case of mistaken identity have them on the run from mobsters in New York City. You've seen the plot before in movies like Blind Date and After Hours, and much of Date Night is sub par, but Carell and Fey's talents shine in the film. Plus, the film is packed with so many all-star cameos and stellar improvisation that you can look past the weak plot and script.

Also out this week is a must-see documentary for music fans, When You're Strange, which tells the story of Jim Morrison and the Doors through rare concert and archival footage; Johnny Depp narrates. Check out a special preview clip here.
