Rolling Stone's 35th Annual College Journalism Competition

Entries are now being accepted for Rolling Stone's 35th Annual College Journalism Competition.

What We're Looking For
The single best work of nonfiction to be published in a college student newspaper or magazine between June 1st, 2009, and May 31st, 2010.

The Prize
A prize of $2,500 will be awarded for the most outstanding piece.

Who Can Enter
Anyone enrolled as a full- or part-time student at the time the entry was published.

The Deadline
Entries must be received no later than June 15th, 2010.

How to Enter
Entries may include reporting, feature stories, profiles, essays or criticism on any subject. Students are limited to one entry per person. Each submission must be sent in a separate envelope and accompanied by a completed entry form, available for download below. Tear sheets must be original newspaper or magazine pieces showing the date of publication.

The Judging
The editors of Rolling Stone will judge entries on their overall excellence, with particular attention to thorough and ambitious reporting, stylish and original writing and fresh and perceptive analysis. The winner will be announced in the fall of 2010.
