Prepare yourself for a trailer that's as British as a corgi sipping tea. Rebellion – a UK studio best known for Sniper Elite 4 and Zombie Army Trilogy – has created a co-op shooter that could have come straight from a 1930's adventure story. Meet Strange Brigade.

We're promised a resurrected Egyptian witch queen and the trailer delivers on whole massive Egyptian dog gods, undead peril and the fun face of colonialism. There are four explorers to play as and the game will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on an unspecified date. We'll expect to see more of it in action as massive gaming show E3 does its thing next week.

As far as we know, the game is not based on the 1952 novel The Strange Brigade by John Jennings. That seems to be mainly about Canada and land laws.
