If you can't be bothered, or you don't have the cojones, to play Capcom's brutal horror game Resident Evil 7: Biohazard for yourself you can still experience all its horrible glory with this one hour, 45 minute speedrun through the game.
Finnish YouTuber DraQu achieved the impressive time while still maintaining an air of cool around the chainsaws, killer bugs and cannibal family members that make the game so damn stressful. A speedrunner (and a competitive first-person shooter player) he's previously dashed through Bioshock (43 minutes), Doom 3 (just over an hour) and Dishonored 2 (30 minutes).
Speedrunning is a popular sport for the hardcore gaming community to attempt and spectate, with retro titles and new releases all fair game. Often speedrunners will repeatedly play through a game in order to perfect their technique and to learn how to avoid potential obstacles that could shave precious seconds off their time.
Recently Dark Souls, usually a series noted for its difficulty, has become a popular target for the speedrunning community with players finishing in under 20 minutes.
