Check out this new trailer for Luigi's Mansion on Nintendo Switch, the existence of which has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that it's April Fools' Day. Definitely don't think about the fact that no one announces new games on a weekend, or that Nintendo hasn't mentioned this at all.
The first Luigi's Mansion ghost-hunting action adventure was released in 2001 as a launch title for the Nintendo Gamecube, before going on to become the fifth best-selling game on the platform. A superb sequel followed in 2013 for Nintendo 3DS – Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon – which went on to sell over 5 million copies. There was also an arcade game, Luigi's Mansion Arcade, that appeared in 2015 in Japan and a scattering of Dave and Buster's across the US. So clearly it makes total sense that Nintendo would be bringing it to the Switch in 2017.
