Lovers of massive online games have got a bunch of Christmas gifts to enjoy today, whether felonies or firepower are what make their lights twinkle. There's also a look at the canceled project Doom 4 which reveals the drama and tough decisions behind that leaked CGI trailer doing the rounds last year, and how we ended up with this year's retro demon rumble.

There’s a massive update for Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto Online today, named Import/Export. Why not make a pretty profit on all those luxury cars you’ve been boosting around town? It’s an addition to the CEO stuff and includes the chance to fill a new executive garage with 60 vehicles. There are eight new special vehicles to play with, a new Pegassi Tempesta, Ocelot Penetrator and so much more. The update also adds a new Adversary Mode, Turf Wars and more customization options for your character. Find out all the details here.

Overwatch got a makeover too, and it's up to its baubles in Christmas themed treats. The Winter Wonderland event added Winter Loot boxes full of everything you need to feel festive and - Yeti Winston! - and a new 6v6 brawl mode called Mei’s Snowball Offensive. Deck the halls, and your enemies and feel damn holiday joyous while you’re doing it.

The Wii U version of Yooka-Laylee has been canceled, but don’t shed a tear, it’s coming to the Nintendo Switch instead. All the other versions of the open world platformer, on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac or Linux, will be released on April 11.

Get a look at the canceled Doom 4, way before it became the Doom we were all blasting around in earlier this year. Noclip’s film DOOM Resurrected - To Hell & Back stars big names from the studio Id Software and explains Doom 4 was set on earth, was more military than demonic and even had the nickname “Call Of Doom.”

Speaking of the blockbuster shooter, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be free for five days starting on December 15. Take part and you can play the campaign, multiplayer and Zombies In Spaceland. Meanwhile Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered players are getting six new maps, two gameplay modes and more in the latest update
