5. Seliph the Scion of Light
I admit, Seliph is a weird boy. He’s a champion of the downtrodden, a hero of the subjugated (despite being another pampered princeling), and a character custom made to be martyred. And yet he never actually dies, canonically at least, instead leading his people to freedom and victory. This is especially strange because in Heroes, his primarily combat ability makes him ideal for suicidal assaults on your opponent’s best heroes. Also, he’s Julia’s half-brother, and Julia is bae af.
I find something very compelling about the weird dichotomy of Seliph’s design and backstory, and though he’s fairly obscure, he makes my heart sing so he gets a golden ticket. Ya’ll don’t like it, write your own list.
