"I'll usually do subtractive work first, like carving and sanding," says Fenedhiss. "Then I'll add what needs to be added with fresh clay, put that piece down to cure, and pick the next thing up. More often than not, it's when I'm waiting for something to cure that I end up either backtracking to old sculpts and seeing what I can do to improve them, or starting new projects."
