This summer, you can hop into virtual reality as a surprisingly low cost. Earlier this month, Oculus announced the Summer of Rift sale, which dropped the price of its virtual reality headset down to $399.
To sweeten the deal, the company announced today that it is bundling that headset with the company's new, motion-tracking controllers. And for now, that entire bundle remains at $399.
The kit includes the headset, two sensors, two Touch controllers, cables and six free games. The included games are Lucky's Touch, Medium, Toybox, Quill, Dead and Buried and Robo Recall.
The price of the bundle will float back up to $499 - but will still include the Touch controllers - once the sale ends.
To put all of this in perspective, the competing HTC Vive headset still runs for $799.
Both Oculus and Vive are planning wireless VR headsets down the line, but not details have been announced for either.
