The first piece of DLC for Nioh, titled Dragon of the North, is out of PlayStation 4 now and there's a new trailer to show off your new foe Masamune Date, also known as the “One-Eyed Dragon.”

This new expansion takes place in the Oshu region and will feature new Yokai for you to dull your blade on. "In keeping with the tradition of our inspiration through Japanese history and mythology, the central character for this new chapter is based on Lord Masamune Date, the ruler of the Sendai feudal domain in the Keicho Era (about 400 years ago)," says the creative director for Team Ninja, Tom Lee. "In our opinion, his personality and exploits in history lend himself to become a key player to contend with in the story."

The new update will also add PvP features to the game.

Nioh was released in February 2017 and took inspiration from an based on an unfinished script from famous Japanese filmmaker Akira Kurosawa. The game shipped a million units in its first two weeks on sale.
