Ludacris Just Launched a 'Scrabble' App

Slang N' Friendz is a word game that embraces new language

Hip hop artist, actor and Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious voice over Ludacris just launched a new word game that grabs Scrabble and glues its eyeballs to Slang N' Friendz, tagline "united we slang" is out on iOS and Android today. 

The game recognizes popular slang words that would send more traditional Scrabble games to their fainting couches. Players are also encouraged to suggest their own slang words for inclusion in the app. It's free to play with an option to buy coins to remove ads, unlock slang definitions and customize the appearance of your letter tiles and backgrounds. 

"In a time when so much of the world is divided, technology has the opportunity to bring us together," says Ludacris, AKA Christopher Bridges.

"Slang N' Friendz encourages users to connect, be friendly and identify what they have in common through language. It's also a chance for different generations to learn about each other's unique forms of communication and find ways to use language to bridge generation gaps." 

Ludacris will appear in the movie The Fate of the Furious, out in April.
