Swamp Thing

Hard to believe, but few DC characters in 1992 had appeared in more media with their name in the title than Swamp Thing – two Eighties movies, a USA TV show nearing the end of its three-season run…and the hilariously awful 1991 cartoon series that lasted precisely five episodes before it was cancelled. Sadly, it was this animated series that served as the basis for Swamp Thing's equally awful NES and Game Boy titles, which oddly debuted a full year after Fox Kids canned the show. Neither version involved much more than punching, kicking, and throwing moss, and they were arguably even worse than their source material. They could have at least included the awesomely terrible theme song.
