Most Batman fans know that Harley Quinn first gained popularity not from comics, but from her scene-stealing personality as the Joker's righthand woman on Batman: The Animated Series, which changed its name to The Adventures of Batman and Robin for its third season. Appropriately, her gaming debut came by way of Konami's excellent Super NES game based on the series, which adapted some of the show's most memorable moments to stellar 2D action with beautiful sprites and animations. Batman didn't actually fight Harley in the game's opening scenario, but she continually needled him until the level's climactic fight with the Joker aboard a moving rollercoaster. You could practically hear Arleen Sorkin's iconic voiceover with onscreen lines like, "Way to go, Mr. J!"
