Halo Wars 2

We really thought Halo Wars would go the way of Rockstar Table Tennis or that Persona 4 dancing game: an interesting, unexpected divergence from a talented developer that’s would never see another iteration. And yet here it is. Halo Wars 2 has you commanding units from either the UNSC or the Banished, a splinter faction of the Covenant. Development is handled by both 343 Studios and Creative Assembly, who are best known for the Total War series. It’ll launch on PC and Xbox One, which brings us back to that weird moment in the 2000s when a bunch of companies tried to make RTS work on a controller. Remember EndWar, Universe at War, and Red Alert 3? Well, they're trying it again. Maybe it’ll actually work this time!
