The Games We Can't Wait to Play Next

From the next 'Mass Effect' to a rebooted 'Resident Evil,' the first chunk of 2017 is looking anything but quiet

For Honor

Ubisoft is finally trying to deliver the Deadliest Warrior fantasy we’ve been waiting for since the dawn of video games. First unveiled in 2015, For Honor puts you in control of vikings, knights, or samurai of every flavor and pits you in brutal, technical melees that would feel at home in the deepest fighting game. It looks like Dynasty Warriors, but it feels like a mix of Chivalry: Medieval Warfare’s utter chaos and Street Fighter's tactical finesse. For Honor does pack something resembling a single player campaign, but this game will live or die on the back of its competitive play, which features some intriguing, persistent-world elements. It's looking good so far.
