Best: 'Mass Effect: Andromeda' Looks Amazing
If you were a Mass Effect: Andromeda denier prior to last night, you get a pass. We hadn't seen a meaningful lick of the game since it was announced years ago, and given how sequels have historically turned out following groundbreaking trilogies, the odds were against it. But it looks like all is good in the (neighboring) galaxy. Andromeda's big gameplay reveal last night evoked a Mass Effect on par with our wildest dreams – vast, human, and explorable. The talking bits looked good, the action looked right, and the universe was strange, yet familiar. It's almost as if these people are good at marketing. One thing, though: why are there so many recognizable species hanging out a galaxy away from our Milky Way?
