20. Superhero League of Hoboken (1994)

Somebody has to defend New Jersey and in the post-apocalyptic future that's the Superhero League of Hoboken. Second-rate heroes who belong in the supporting cast of The Tick, they have powers like “making organizational charts” or “eating really spicy food”. Superhero League of Hoboken had them travel across the state defeating mutated fast food and using their useless powers and crappy equipment to solve puzzles and defeat the evil Dr. Entropy. Most of this was communicated via text and that's where it shone, Steve Meretzky – of A Mind Forever Voyaging fame – filling it with wit.
