3. Lego Marvel Super Heroes (2013)

When they were based on single movies the Lego games' collections of unlockable characters tended to hit barrel bottom pretty quickly, but Lego Marvel Super Heroes had the complete Marvel comic book and cinematic universe to play with. They were solid iterations of the characters too, with varied flying animations and individual combat styles so that Iron Man felt meaningfully different from Phoenix. Once you'd unlocked those characters they were set loose on an adorable Lego New York to zoom around collecting bricks and doing sidequests, like finding a saxophone for Drax.
