10. Chroma Squad (2015)
Turning a kids' show like Power Rangers into a turn-based strategy game doesn't seem like an obvious fit, but Chroma Squad made it work. Like Power Rangers it was high-fructose absurdity, a group of stunt actors quitting their show to go independent in the cheap-costume monster-bashing business. It wasn't about the story though, but the battles, and they were solid match-ups. In addition to using powers heroes could deploy Teamwork poses, helping other heroes attack or launch acrobatically across the map. The mechanics supported the message of the show – it's all about working together.
