Yes, the Switch is in danger of puttering out of the gate with one of the weakest launch lineups in recent memory. But even looking beyond its obvious high point – The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – it's not all doom and gloom, at least not forever. Earlier today, Nintendo invited fans and media to play a number of games on the horizon for the Switch. Some of the big names were missing (no Super Mario Odyssey nor Xenoblade 2,) but attendees did get a chance to mess around with some crucial launch-year titles like Zelda, Splatoon 2, and 1-2 Switch. After spending a few hours checking out what's coming this year for the Switch, I'm finding it more difficult to despair, and that's a good thing.
