Titanfall 2 "Become One"

Live action video game trailers can be a bit crap if they take themselves too seriously, but this year we've been treated to some genuinely great examples. We'd argue that Respawn's "Become One" is the year's best, showing the tight bond that forms between Pilot and Titan that the game itself does such a remarkable job of conveying. The visuals alone are impressive, but it's the music that really sets this trailer apart. You'd think that a contemporary tweak of Cher's 1966 track "Bang, Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)" renamed to "Bang Bang (My Titan Shot Him Down)" with mentions of chest lasers and other game-specific lines would be unbearably cheesy, but somehow Grace – best known for her cover of the 1963 Lesley Gore song "You Don't Own Me" from the Suicide Squad trailer – manages to pull it off with limited fromage.
