For Honor "Story Campaign"
So, why exactly are knights, Vikings, and samurai battling it out in Ubisoft's For Honor? The obvious answer is "who cares?" What's important is that they're fighting, and from early accounts of folks who've been playing, it looks like it'll be a blast to participate in their conflict. But Ubisoft is aiming to answer the question anyway. Per this trailer, it looks like it all started with a cataclysm, followed by a millennium of carnage. Whatever. We'll buy it. What's more salient is how accurately this trailer speaks to For Honor's grand scope. In the game's persistent, cross-platform online scheme, it really matters to the big picture whether your team wins or losses. And the brutal combat, depicted here in CG, actually evokes the way the game plays.
