8 Things You Need to Know from Ubisoft's E3 2017 Show

From 'Assassin's Creed Origins' to new multiplayer pirate game 'Skull & Bones' and a mobile 'South Park' spin-off game

South Park: The Fractured But Whole

The ribald pun in the title should tell you exactly what you ought to expect from the new South Park RPG. Last E3 Trey Parker and Matt Stone announced a sequel to the hugely successful Stick of Truth, and this year’s trailer showed off the same South Park art style and playfulness under the cover of a new imaginary superhero theme. The Stick of Truth was, of course, a parody of Lord of the Rings’ clenched sobriety, so expect Fractured But Whole to be a vicious send-up of the shallow morality of your average Marvel movie. It hits shelves on October 17th.

If that’s not enough, Ubisoft is also launching a mobile-only card battler called South Park: Phone Destroyer, which appears to be a simplified real-time strategy game boiled down to a touch screen. So if you’ve ever wanted to collect an ultra-rare Cartman, now is your chance.
