8 Things You Need to Know from Ubisoft's E3 2017 Show

From 'Assassin's Creed Origins' to new multiplayer pirate game 'Skull & Bones' and a mobile 'South Park' spin-off game

Beyond Good & Evil 2

Ubisoft capped off their show with a lengthy cinematic trailer for Beyond Good & Evil 2, which is a game that’s been in development since at least 2008. The first Beyond Good & Evil - a pensive meditation on corruption and the media – arrived all the way back in 2003. It has been a long journey for the franchise’s holdout fans, but the headlining spot at an E3 press conference is a pretty great coronation. The venerable creative director Michel Ancel wiped away a tear when he took the stage. We still don’t have a release date, or any semblance of gameplay, but it’s good to know that Beyond Good & Evil 2 absolutely, definitively still exists.
