17. Planet Coaster

Planet Coaster doubled down on the creative side of theme park management, giving players a powerful set of tools for modifying buildings and scenery, even to the point of deforming terrain to create mountains and caves. The other side of theme park sims – the more cynical stuff where you try and squeeze every dollar from people's pockets while making them sick on vomit comets – that's definitely not what Planet Coaster is about. It makes you a Disneyland imagineer, organizing the flow of guests and getting them in the optimal position to see the next marvel before being drawn on. Your job is to create wonders.
