VR was supposed to provide our means of venturing into the furthest reaches of the galaxy – yet one of the greatest uses of its tech so far is a game that places you in the shoes (or rather, head) of a store clerk. Or chef. Or mechanic. Mundane tasks such as making pizza or serving customers are turned hilarious under Viva/Oculus Rift/PS VR, thanks to comical voices, humorous twists and ingenious sight gags – such as your office worker keyboard, required to delete a swathe of junk mail, having only 0 and 1 keys. A perfect round of virtual banality.
