39. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

New augmentations transfuse with classic stealth elements in Eidos Montréal's returning cyberpunk-themed first-person action adventure. Protagonist Adam Jensen is once more a cool, if occasionally starchy-collared, presence, but it’s the backdrop that steals the show: future Prague is easily one of the most explorable, detailed open worlds of this or any other year. And unlike predecessor Human Revolution, the latter stages really do change dramatically depending on which augs you’ve upgraded and abilities you’ve unlocked, with replays via New Game Plus genuinely offering an entirely fresh experience. It’s essentially 'hack to the future', and it's fantastic.
