One of the more surprising stories over the past couple years is Nintendo's slow, trudging journey into competitive games. At the start of Nintendo's presentation Reggie announced a port of Rocket League to the Switch, as well as E3 tournaments for both Splatoon 2 and Pokken Tournament: DX. That's big news for a company who, very recently, caught some flack for their distant treatment of the massive Super Smash Bros. scene. With the surprisingly technical Arms releasing on Friday, maybe Nintendo is finally coming around.
