14. The best-looking 'Star Wars' game also proves the awesomeness of VR
Just weeks before The Force Awakens ushered in a new era of Star Wars movies, so too did the launch of EA's Star Wars Battlefront for Star Wars games. EA made a big deal about its access to the Lucasfilm archives, and having used it to create one of the best-looking games we've ever seen on consoles, DICE absolutely delivered in dropping the jaws of Star Wars gamers worldwide. Still, between past Pandemic Battlefront games and DICE's own Battlefield titles, the game itself felt a little "been there, done that." But then along came Criterion's free add-on Rogue One: X-Wing VR Mission a year later. Though only about 20 minutes in length, many regard it as one of the best reasons to own PlayStation VR. It even nestles perfectly into the story of Rogue One, complete with laugh-out-loud dialogue from Alan Tudyk as K-2SO.
