Darth Revan

Few game characters have proven so popular or have had so profound an effect on broader Star Wars (albeit now non-canonical Legends) lore than fallen Jedi, Sith Lord Darth Revan. Originally appearing in 2003's Knights of the Old Republic as a big-bad that turned out to actually be...shock, spoiler-alert...the player all along, he has since appeared in multiple games including the 2011 MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic and its associated novelizations. Think his cool mask bears an uncanny resemblance to the one worn by Kylo Ren? That's no accident. Ren's distinctive lightsaber is said to be a sly reference to Revan too, if you care to dig through the lore associated with its design. Hey, if Lucas and Disney can re-canonize Grand Admiral Thrawn from Timothy Zahn's Heir to the Empire novels for his appearances in Star Wars: Rebels season three, we'd love to see Revan get the recognition he's due too.
