As part of Blizzard's big Heroes of the Storm 2.0 overhaul next week – which includes Genji and Hanamura from Overwatch, a revamped progression system, loot chests, new currency (gems replacing cash), and cosmetics like sprays, banners, taunts, announcer packs and emojis – it's also giving away free stuff for its popular MOBA.
All you'll have to do is log into the game between April 25 and May 22 and you'll earn yourself 100 free gems, which is enough of the game's new currency to buy one of its new themed "Mega Bundles." There are four different bundles to choose from, each tailored to different play styles. There are destructive "Assassins" like Starcraft's Kerrigan or Nova; the "Flex" variety pack that includes characters as diverse as Diablo, The Lost Vikings and Starcraft's Tychus; a "Support and Specialist" bundle, where you'll find Lúcio from Overwatch, Tyrael from Diablo and Uther from World of Warcraft; and the up-close-and-personal "Tanks and Bruisers" like Zarya from Overwatch, Arthas The Lich King from World of Warcraft or Leoric from Diablo. Each bundle includes 20 Heroes, which is particularly helpful if you're brand new to the game and are thinking of trying it out for the first time.
There's a full list of every Hero included with each bundle here.
