Open-world action game Agents Of Mayhem was already leaning in pretty heavily on its resemblance to the TV shows of the eighties and nineties, but it's really doubled down by picking David Hasselhoff to lend his silky vocal chords to the latest trailer.

The same David Hasselhoff who played Michael Knight in Knight Rider, flaunted his lustrous chest weave in Baywatch and who sang, hoisted aloft by a crane, at the Berlin Wall in 1989. He's the perfect fit for Agents Of Mayhem which has its fair share of cars, chaos and colorful characters.

The game, developed by Volition, is a spin-off of Saints Row universe, allowing players to assemble their own gang of misfit superheroes (including a Colombian former sky pirate or a roller derby pinup) and take on the League of Evil Gentlemen Intent on Obliterating Nations. This trailer reveals that each of the cars available to the agents has an AI, just like Knight Rider's KITT.

The game will be released for PS4, Xbox One and PC on August 15.
