Pokkén Tournament DX comes to Nintendo Switch on September 22. If the game sounds familiar it's because it's a re-release of the March 2016 Wii U title Pokkén Tournament, but that didn't hurt Mario Kart 8 on Switch any.
The trailer gives you an idea about how the game has been updated for its new Switch version, and the biggest feature if that you can both grab a Joy-con and compete on a single Switch.
To make sure Pokkén Tournament DX gets a shot at the limelight Nintendo is holding a 2017 Pokkén Tournament DX Invitational on June 14 (during massive gaming trade show E3) where eight YouTube and Twitch celebrities will battle it out. The victors will get Pokkén Tournament DX art piece signed by Tsunekazu Ishihara, president and CEO of The Pokémon Company.
