The 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom is being honored by Comcast with an interactive website that features interviews with civil rights leaders as well as a video compilation. King's "I Have a Dream" speech is chronicled in a new video, His Dream Our Stories, which traces the influence and impact of the movement.
The video features more than 80 interviews from clergy members, civil rights activists, elders and civic leaders involved in King's mission. His Dream Our Stories also provides archival footage and commentary from Rev. Jesse Jackson, Ernest Green of the Little Rock Nine and former U.N. Ambassador Andrew Young.
Viewers can visit HisDreamOurStories.com to submit their own stories commemorating the 50th anniversary of the event. Comcast and NBC Universal are making the content available across a variety of platforms as part of coverage of the August 28th March on Washington anniversary.
