Director Jay Bulger talks to Rolling Stone about his hair-raising documentary on the wild life of drummer Ginger Baker, which screens several times at SXSW beginning Saturday. When he first learned the onetime Cream drummer's insane back story – guns, drugs, exile and much more – Bulger thought, "Not only is he still alive, but he's still a fucking madman. Why doesn't anyone else know that?" The film features interviews with a Who's Who of rock & roll, including Eric Clapton, Charlie Watts, Carlos Santana and Johnny Rotten. "The devil takes care of his own," says Bulger.
