Video: Horatio Sanz

Q&A with the actor of the new sitcom 'Big Lake'

August 20, 2010 2:02 PM ET

On Tuesday night, Horatio Sanz returned to the small screen as one-third of the comedian group starring in Comedy Central's Big Lake. Premised like an old-fashioned sitcom, Lake finds Sanz — along with his former SNL co-star Chris Parnell and newcomer Chris Gethard — getting into oddball hi-jinks in their small town of Big Lake.

In the clip above, Sanz tells Rolling Stone about getting started in improv, helping SNL producer Lorne Michaels book Neil Young on the show and why the music of Radiohead — Sanz's favorite band — would be the perfect soundtrack to Big Lake.

Sanz also visited his old friend Jake Fogelnest, host on Sirius XM's indie-rock channel XMU, and you can hear the pair co-host during Fogelnest's show every morning this week.
