In 2010, Lady Gaga showed up to the VMAs in what will arguably be remembered as her most infamous ensemble – a proudly gory meat dress. Less than two years later, the dress is back in the headlines, thanks to its placement in both an upcoming episode of The Simpsons and on the pop superstar's own latest world tour.

Set to air May 26th, the 23rd season finale of the iconic cartoon will feature a meat-clad Gaga cameo. Naturally, the jokes here invent themselves: in one destined-to be-memed scene, Homer Simpson attempts to use a blowtorch to turn her fashion into dinner. In another, she attempts a local self-esteem crusade.

The episode pops up just as Gaga's latest tour looks see her revisiting her "con carne" glory days. At a recent Tokyo concert, she wore an updated version of the dress, surrounded by plasticine animal carcasses. Gaga's latest meaty costume is slightly more elegant/less revolting than the original; it appears to be synthetic, thankfully, and features a bubble skirt and bustier. However, she won't be able to wear the dress in the mostly Muslim Indonesia, as she's been banned from performing.
