• A nude photograph of Madonna circa her Sex era is going up for auction. The image, taken in 1990 by iconic fashion photographer Steven Meisel, is an outtake from the book. It is predicted to sell for up to $10,000 when it goes up for bidding at New York City's Bonhams next month.

• Nicki Minaj, who just released the sensational video for new single "Starships," is currently in London on an international press run and told the Sun that she admires the Queen's wardrobe. Surprised? Don't be: after all, Her Majesty might be the original zany hat pioneer. "I bet her closet is crazy. I'd love to go through it. I bet the dresses would fit me, too — she’s like a little, tiny ladybug," says Minaj.

Time recently launched its first ever Top 100 Fashion Icons list, with several notable musicians making the cut.
