When Rolling Stone exclusively previewed the New York City launch of Lil Wayne's clothing brand TRUKFIT in January, manager Cortez Bryant hinted that the pint-sized rapper had even more style tricks to unleash in the coming months. Now the foreshadowing continues: Weezy has just confirmed that in addition to helming the self-described "best clothing line ever," he plans to release a signature sneaker. But it won't be via TRUKFIT – he has inked a deal with a major shoe brand, though he's keeping its identity a mystery.
"It's not a Nike or Reebok, I can tell you that much," he tells Vibe. When the magazine hints they've seen him flaunt more than one pair of Supras, the rapper jokes, "Uh oh! Watch out!" Clue?
In the mean time, you can shop for TRUKFIT's skateboard-friendly styles at Karmaloop.
