French retailer Colette continues its 'Ye loyalty

When we had the pleasure of reporting that Kanye West's incredibly strange "cloven-hoof heels" were legitimately selling for $6,000 at upscale French retailer Colette back in February, they were among the few creations from his clothing label to find a commercial presence. That's now changed: after showing a much better Fall collection shortly after, he stands a chance of getting his threads in the hands of luxury consumers. You can probably count on Colette to continue their loyalty; they just announced they will now carry West's buzzed-about gold "Yeezi" necklace, which was the rare item from his debut runway show left unscorned. The nameplate chain – spotted on the rapper himself (ironically) during his Givenchy-clad Occupy Wall Street cameo – is made in collaboration with Jacob & Co. and will likely fetch a handsome fee.
