Vikings defensive end Everson Griffen was arrested for public intoxication on a Friday, released by the team on Saturday and then arrested again on Sunday for a situation he worsened by trying to flee. When officers pulled him over and questioned his invalid driver's license, Griffen said he "did not want to go back to jail," ran off, allegedly grabbed one officer in the groin area and was eventually subdued with a Taser by another officer.
