Singer-songwriter Hayes Carll visited the Rolling Stone office recently and performed three songs – "Kmag Yoyo," "Chances Are" and "Hard Out There" – from his new album KMAG YOYO (& Other American Stories). After the brief solo set, Carll talked about being inspired by a Kenny Rogers tape as a little kid, the impact of Bob Dylan on his song writing and the origin of his popular song "She Left Me For Jesus."
