Thirteen-year-old viral pop sensation Rebecca Black made her first live television appearance last night on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Before performing an abbreviated version of the song with Leno's house band, Black sat down for an interview in which she explained the origin of "Friday" and mentioned some big stars – including Ryan Seacrest, Simon Cowell, Willow Smith and Nicole Richie – who have wished her well since she became an instant celebrity nearly two weeks ago.
