Mynabirds' Document Tour With Bright Eyes in 'LA Rain' Video

The Mynabirds, a soulful pop band in the mold of Fiona Apple, Adele and Dusty Springfield, released their excellent debut album What We Lose in the Fire We Gain in the Flood around this time last year, but they're still out promoting it as if it came out last week. This video for their ballad "LA Rain" was shot last month while the group was out on tour with Bright Eyes. The black-and-white footage is basically a low key and charming mini-documentary of the band as they hang out backstage with comedian Lewis Black, record in a studio, soundcheck and finally, warm up a crowd at a Bright Eyes gig.
