Foo Fighters Return to 'SNL' With Blistering Version of 'Walk'

On Saturday the Foo Fighters made their sixth appearance as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live. It was the 10th time Dave Grohl has been on the show as a musical performer, including appearances as a drummer with Nirvana, Tom Petty and Them Crooked Vultures. Grohl is currently the musician with the greatest number of appearances as a musical guest on the show. (Paul Simon has been on the show 11 times, but was only a host for two of those shows.)

In addition to playing fierce renditions of "Walk" and "Rope" from the Foos' latest album Wasting Light, the always-amusing Grohl also appeared in two of the night's sketches. Hopefully the next time he graces the SNL stage, it will be as host and musical guest.
