Bruce Springsteen & Joe Gruschecky Live - 'Light Of Day'

Last Saturday Bruce Springsteen made a surprise appearance at the annual Light of Day Parkinson's benefit in Asbury Park New Jersey. Backed by Joe Grushecky and the Houserockers, Springsteen closed the show with a blisterning ninety-minute set. One of the highlights was "Light of Day," a track he originally wrote for Joan Jett on the soundtrack to the widely forgotten 1987 movie Light of Day. It's been a staple of Springsteen concerts ever since, and a handful of times he's even sung it with Jett herself.
